Only daughter of Billy & Laura and highly successful teenage author, Cathy Hopkins.  Author of the various series, including ‘Mates, Dates’; ‘Truth, Dare, Kiss, Promise’; ‘Zodiac Girls’; Cinnamon Girls’; ‘Million Dollar Mates’; and not forgetting the ‘Dead Dudes’ books.

Urmston Bookshop opened at the end of October 2010. Owned & run by Peter & Frances Hopkins (Billy’s & Laura’s 3rd child & his wife) and they are very excited about their new venture. They stock a wide range of titles for both adults and children together with some educational toys & games. They also stock the last remaining (signed) copies of Billy’s final novel, ‘Big Mama’.

 

 

 

Bill Keeth lives in Middleton, Greater Manchester. He has lived in and around north Manchester all his life and worked for many years in Manchester schools. He began writing as a founder member of a writers’ workshop at Manchester College of Building. His debut novel, Every Street in Manchester [ISBN 1859880657] was shortlisted for the Portico Literary Prize, and is available from all good bookshops, including Waterstone’s, Borders and Amazon. A contemporaneous sequel, Manchester Kiss [ISBN 1859880673] was published in the same week as the Portico Literary Prize Presentation Dinner was held.

 

 

 

What follows is a suggested traverse of the Pennine Way, south to north, that would take 19 days in all, and would afford easy access to vigil Masses at St Stephen’s, Skipton (SA1800) by Pennine Bus from Thornton-in-Craven and at Our Lady of Appleby, Appleby (SA1800) by taxi from Dufton.
